BioHermes Limpid Blood Glucose Meter

Limpid Professional Blood Glucose Meter is for use with corresponding Blood Glucose Test Strips to quantitatively measure the glucose level of fresh capillary whole blood. This blood glucose meter is applicable to: glucose monitoring conducted by clinical medical professionals, or self-monitoring by patients with Adiabetes or high-risk groups. This meter is not applicable for the diagnosis of diabetes.

This meter uses an electrochemistry method called GOD enzyme method to measure the concentration of blood glucose. Glucose in the blood can react with GOD enzyme and other chemical reagents on the test strip, to produce electrons and form the electric current, which can be received and detected by the meter. The intensity of electric current is positively correlated with the concentration of blood glucose.

With the meter, healthcare professionals and patients can timely monitor the real-time blood glucose level, to minimize the risk of acute diabetic symptoms such as hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, and for daily use to give the instruction for mode of life and medications to avoid or control the diabetes complications, thus for a better Diabetes Management.
